Kanawha Plaza tickets & upcoming events

Kanawha Plaza in Richmond, VA is one of those spots that just feels alive, especially during events. It’s where the mental health advocacy walk used to happen every year from 2013 to 2017, and honestly, you can still sense the energy of those gatherings. The place is pretty versatile too, the way it’s laid out means you can rearrange seating for all kinds of activities, whether it’s a local concert or a community festival. Speaking of concerts, Kanawha Plaza is a pretty sweet stage for emerging artists trying to get their foot in the door. Like, I remember catching a rising band called Hot Mulligan right up front, and the vibe was electric. They even have this interactive seating chart that shows you how close you’ll be to the action, which is super handy if you’re picky about your view. VIP ticket holders usually get priority queues at concessions, no long lines for them, which is a lifesaver when everyone’s hungry and eager to get back to the music. Whether you're after front row excitement, a little luxury in the VIP sections, or just a budget-friendly seat in the back, Kanawha Plaza’s got options. Just a heads up, tickets for popular events don’t stick around long, so if you see something you like, don’t wait too long. Honestly, there’s just something special about experiencing a show or event there, it’s more than just a venue, it’s a place where memories are made, and I’d definitely recommend keeping an eye out for upcoming events.
